The bodice is simplicity itself with a romantic feeling halter construction that is flattering but not so low or bare that you feel exposed. The waist is nipped slightly but this is created by vertical seaming from the empire seam just under the bust this really gives a long, lean silhouette! The skirt is really the delight of this piece the fabric panels expand so there is actually an amazing amount of fabric there and it is quite full with lots of movement. The seaming is done so these panels naturally curve so they way you see it sitting in the photos is what it does in real life! Amazing. It is all done in a fine fine wool and it has a good substantial, couture like feel. Lined in black tissue silk so feels wonderful on. Rare label to find and in mint condition!
