This dress is quite fabulous with it's huge butterfly print that is screened onto it form top to bottom and done in stunning shades of blue and green with pops of tangerine. The La Mendola label is highly collectible and sought after when the duo behind the label where designing in Rome it was girls like Elizabeth Taylor and Rita Hayworth that were buying! This might even be one of the last gowns made! The base of the dress is made of a stretch jersey cut long and lean with silk chiffon sleeves and a wide silk chiffon sash that you can use it as a belt or a head scarf. The neck is high and I love that you can wear it as one sleek column or add shape with the silk tie belt. The colors are amazing and it emanates joy with that fantastic print! It's an amazing piece and in excellent condition.
